NEW PEDAGOGUE ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM RELEASE OFFERS INNOVATIONS IN ASSESSMENT CREATION AND
MANAGEMENT
PRINCETON, NJ, FEBRUARY, 2008 - Pedagogue® Solutions,
developer of the Pedagogue Assessment Management System®
and a leading provider of online assessments, announces the
release of Version 9.0 this month. PedagogueAMS9 is a major
advancement, pioneering innovations in assessment creation
and management. This release offers significant enhancements
to the system’s presentation, authoring, reporting and
administration platforms, including the following new features.
Testing by Learning Objective
PedagogueAMS9 allows test developers to create re-usable assessment
objects, which can be created to correspond to a learning
system’s learning objectives. This allows exam authors
to build a library of reusable assessment objects, retest
on only non-mastered objectives and report on assessment object
results.
More Flexible Scoring and Test Delivery
Options
Questions can now be assigned partial credit and weights.
Series of questions can be linked together into cases, Exams
can be divided into independent sections with their own timing
and scoring. Test takers can be allowed to exit from the test
after a section is completed and complete the remainder of
the test later.
E-mail Notification
A robust system of e-mail notification enables test takers
and their managers to be notified when an exam is available,
when an exam is passed or failed, when an exam assignment
is about to expire and when an exam assignment has expired.
Individualized Remediation Plans
Individualized Remediation Plans are created for students
based upon their mastery/non-mastery of learning objectives.
Plans can be score-based and can include links directly back
to on-line learning systems.
